Since 1979, Tulsa Life Flight has served the communities in and around eastern
Oklahoma by providing helicopter ambulance critical care transports. We respond to
scenes and hospital to hospital requests for patient transports. We have safely
completed over 43,000 accident free patient flights.
Tulsa Life Flight recently transitioned from a hospital based service to a community
based service. The result of our transition resulted in Tulsa Life Flight moving out into
three communities in eastern Oklahoma, adding additional bases and aircraft to our
service, decreasing our response times and improving our availability to you and your
emergency medical needs. In line with our transition, Tulsa Life Flight is owned and
operated by the Air Methods Corporation.
Air Methods Corporation is the nation’s largest provider of air medical emergency
transport services and systems. The company is dedicated exclusively to air medical
transport, focusing on the quality of care to patients, and safety in aviation operations.

With 29 years of experience, the company transports more than 98,000 patients
annually who require intensive medical care from either the scene of an accident or
general care hospitals to highly skilled trauma centers or tertiary care centers. Air
Methods operates a fleet of over 320 helicopters and fixed-wing aircraft at more than
250 bases in 43 states, and is headquartered in Englewood, Colorado.
Operating new or late model air conditioned aircraft with the latest available technology
to help insure safe, reliable and comfortable patient transports, Tulsa Life Flight covers
all of eastern Oklahoma.
